Afghan official calls for Iran’s co-op in investment

Birjand, South Khorasan Prov, April 28, IRNA – Afghanistan's Deputy Trade Minister Zia-e-ddin Zia called for Iran’s cooperation with his country in trade affairs and investment.
In a joint gathering of Iranian and Afghan businessmen here on Tuesday, Zia called the meeting an opportunity for resolving investment and trade problems between the neighboring provinces of Iran and Afghanistan.
Zia added that during a visit to an industrial township in Birjand by Afghan businessmen, we all were witnessed big jobs in industrial arena here and we congratulate Iranians in this regard.
He added that we are eliminating security problems in Afghanistan, so I request Iranian investors to study our investment law and cooperate in this field.
Afghanistan's deputy trade minister said that by signing agreements and memoranda of understanding the two countries should eliminate problems related to economic and trade exchanges.
He said that Afghanistan owns exclusive mines such as copper mines, which are the largest ones in the world./end
