Iran to install second LNG tank ceiling
TEHRAN, April 27 (MNA) – The concrete ceiling of the second 140,000 cubic meter LNG tank with a weight of about 620 tons and a 76-meter diameter will be inaugurated on the first of May.
The Mehr News Agency reported that the tank was built with the latest air raising technology 38 meters above the ground.
The two-layer LNG and LPG tanks cost about 245 million euros and were built through a joint effort by Iranians and a South Korean firm.
The first such tank was inaugurated 2 months ago in Tonbak, Assaluyeh, by the industry and mines minister.
