AZERBAIJANI PREMIER MEETS WITH HIS HUNGARIAN COUNTERPART

Baku, 07 July, (AzerTaj)Azerbaijani Premier Artur Rasizade today has met in Baku with his Hungarian colleague Ferenc Gyurcsany.

On successful relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, head of Azerbaijan government underlined that there is relevant legislative basis to expand the economic cooperation and creation of the intergovernmental economic commission would make a contribution to development of the mutually beneficial ties.

Mr. Rasizade told of sore problem of the country, Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.

Hungarian Premier hailed the strategic partnership between the two countries and expressed his confidence in enhancing cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian areas.

As a result of the negotiations, the Agreements on cooperation in the field of statistics was signed between the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan and Central Statistics Committee of Hungary, Agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and Hungary, Memorandum of Understanding in information technologies and communication between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies and Hungarian Ministry of Transport, Telecommunication and Energy were signed During the press-conference followed the meeting, Mr. Gyurcsany emphasized thatHungarian investors were keen on energy, communication and information technologies, environment and delivery of the equipment for food industry.

Hungarian Premier highly praised Azerbaijan’s role in implementation of the global energy projects.
