CHAIRMAN OF PAKISTANI SENATE`S FOREIGN RELATIONS COMMITTEE MEETS WITH AZERBAIJANI VICE-SPEAKER
Baku, 07 July, (AzerTAj)Visiting Chairman of the Pakistani Senate`s Foreign Relations Committee Mushahid Hussain Sayed and his accompanying delegation met Monday with first deputy speaker of the Milli Majlis, chairman of the parliamentary commission on security and defense Ziyafet Asgarov.
Z. Asgarov noted friendly relations between the two countries had been upgraded to the level of strategic partnership. According to him, Azerbaijan and Pakistan effectively cooperation within the UN, OIC and other international organizations.
He highlighted the role of the Heads of States in elevating relationships to this level. Asgarov pointed out documents signed during reciprocal visits created a legal basis for all-round cooperation including military one.
Asgarov thanked Pakistan its fiar position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Sayed noted the people of Pakistan know what terrorism, occupation and aggression are and that is why Pakistan supports resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
