Envoy: US-Israel worried about Iran-Arab world ties improvement

Damascus, April 27, IRNA – President’s advisor and Iran’s ambassador to Damascus said here Monday that the US and Israel are worried lest Iran’s relations with Arab world would improve to their loss and to Arab worlds’ benefit.

Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ahmad Mousavi made the above statement in a conference titled “Iran-Syria Ties; Palestine’s Victory”, adding, “They are also worried about the advancements of the entire Arabic and Islamic countries.”

The conference that is sponsored by Iran and Palestine Friendship Group is held at Al-Kesvah Cultural Center in Reef District of Damascus.

Reef District of Damascus is inclusive of various townships in the vicinity of the capital, Damascus.

The envoy said, “The victory of the Iranian revolution was not merely a blessing for the Iranian nation, but also for the entire oppressed peoples of the world.”

Pointing out that Islam grants prestige and grandeur to the world Muslims, he added, “The enemies are neither scared lest Iran would manufacture atomic bombs, nor concerned really about our nuclear facilities, but concerned about the popularity of the Islamic republic of Iran inside and outside the country.”

Mousavi meanwhile asked for mobilizing the entire capabilities of the Arab world and the Islamic countries against the Zionist regime and the United States, stressing that Iran’s scientific know-how in entire scientific, industrial and technological fields can be transferred to Syria.

Mousavi added, “If a single missile would be delivered to the Lebanese Hezbollah the enemies would shier with fear, but they say nothing about advanced weapons that are continually shipped to Israel.”

Also present at the conference there were Iran’s Housing and Rural Development Minister Ali Nikzad, hundreds of political, social and political party personalities from Syria, Palestine and Iran./end
