Tehran to host political committee of Asian Parliamentary Assembly
Tehran, April 27, IRNA -- Secretary-General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly Mohammad-Hadi Nejad-Hosseinian said on Monday that Tehran will host the international entity's political committee on May 12.
All member states have been invited to the three-day event where the Iranian parliamentarians are to play active role, he said.
The agenda of the meeting will be to discuss ways to bolster peace and security in Asia, statements on principles of friendship, enhanced cooperation among the Asian countries and the parliaments of the member states as well as vindicating the legitimate rights of Palestinian nation, he said./end
