IRGC launches final stage of maneuver
Bandar Abbas, Hurmozgan Prov., April 26, IRNA - The final phase of the IRGC war game code-named “Holy Prophet 5” started on Sunday in the Persian Gulf region with five advanced cruise missiles being launched.
The IRGC 's naval, air and ground forces are taking part in the major drill aimed at o displaying Iran's deterrent military power to help establish security in the strategic region.
At this stage, the IRGC forces pushed back the hypothetical enemy in Persian Gulf waters by pounding their positions with five sophisticated cruise missiles.
These five missiles launched at different locations hit targets simultaneously, said the report.
The four-stage military exercise of the IRGC forces has started in the region since April 22.
Code-named the “Holy Prophet 5,” the war game was conducted in the Persian Gulf and the Straight of Hormuz to demonstrate the strength of the IRGC naval forces.
The military maneuver coincided with the 31st anniversary of the IRGC's establishment./end
