Indonesians very interested in Iran's news

Beijing, April 24, IRNA – Indonesian Director of OANA Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf said Saturday the people in his country are very interested in news about Iranian affairs and follow news related to Iran which are broadcast by IRNA.
Mukhlis Yusuf, President of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) made the remarks in his meeting with Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Ali-Akbar Javan-Fekr.
Javan-Fekr is in Seoul, South Korea, for the OANA Summit Congress that started on April 22.
The OANA president praised IRNA’s active participation in the OANA Summit meeting and its effective role in releasing international and regional news.
He expressed hope that OANA member countries will develop their cooperation in order to achieve the Organization’s goals.
Meanwhile, the IRNA chief said that the official Iranian news agency is ready to have broader contribution to the plans and projects related to OANA.
On Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, Javan-Fekr referred to the related news released by western media as false and baseless.
Javan-Fekr called on the OANA member states to promote cooperation in order to spread real news worldwide./end
