Premier praises Yemeni-Omani brotherly relations

SANA'A, April 21 (Saba) - Prime
Minister Ali Mujawar described here on Wednesday the Yemeni-Omani brotherly
relations as distinctive.
This came during his meeting with the Omani Minister of Transport and
Communications Khamis bin Mubarak al-Alawi and the Yemeni Minister of Transport
Khalid al-Wazir, who
are co-chairing the meetings of the 10th session of the Yemeni-Omani ministerial
joint committee kicked off in Sana'a on Wednesday.
The Premier hailed the active role of the committee in developing the mutual
cooperation and enhancing the existing relations in political, economic, cultural
and social
areas.
Al-Wazir and al-Alawi briefed Mujawar on the issues to be discussed in 10th
session, particularly in fields of the trade, industry, agriculture, fishery,
transport, meteorology
and insurance.
They also talked about focusing on developing the level of mutual investment
activities between the two neighboring countries.
The Prime Minister affirmed the importance of the incessant follow up and
evaluation of the implementation of the protocols and agreements that have been
signed between
the two countries.
In return, the Omani official affirmed the Yemeni-Omani deep-rooted relations,
valuing the exerted efforts by the government for succeeding the activities of the
Yemeni-Omani
ministerial joint committee and for coming out with results serve the two countries'
common interests.
