Iran’s Oil fair, venue to introduce domestic companies worldwide

Tehran, April 20, IRNA – Iran’s international oil show which is to start on April 21 here is a proper chance to introduce the Iranian companies to other countries, said a senior oil official on Tuesday.

Member of the Board of Directors of the National Petrochemical Industries Company Hossein-Ali Zahmatkesh told IRNA that holding of the five-day exhibition would create a chance to present potentials of the Iranian companies in the field of oil, gas, refining and petrochemicals activities.

The 15th International Oil Show is to be inaugurated at Tehran’s Permanent International Fairground, north of the Iranian capital, on Wednesday and will end its work on April 25.

Some 929 domestic and 401 foreign companies are to attend the exhibition including companies from Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Russia, Sweden, France, India, mexico, Brazil and the Saudi Arabia.

Zahmatkesh said that the event would provide an opportunity for closer familiarity between the Iranian companies and their foreign counterparts.

It would also prepare the grounds for more active presence of the Iranian oil and gas companies at the international and regional markets, said the official.

He stressed that presence of the foreign companies at this year’s fair had a 10 percent growth compared to the 14th Oil Show last year./end
