CEDAW praises Yemen's efforts on Yemeni woman status
NEW YORK, July 07 (Saba)- Deputy Chairwoman of Yemen Women National Committee Hooria Mashhour has presented Yemen's report on the level of Yemeni woman status during the 41st round of the Committee on the
Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) being held in New York on June 30- July 18.
During its round which was attended by ambassador to the United Nations Abdullah
al-Said, the CEDAW has praised Yemeni efforts on eradication discrimination against Yemeni women.
The report has discussed steps taken by Yemen in eliminating discrimination against
Women.
CEDAW confirmed the necessity of more efforts on improving woman status in urban
and rural areas.
