PAKISTAN PRESENTS AWARD TO TURKISH AIRLINES, AGAIN
ISLAMABAD (A.A) - 19.04.2010 - One of Pakistan's most prestigious universities, Hamdard, has presented the Turkish Airlines (THY) with the "special culture and education award" on Monday.
Hamdard's award was presented to THY's Manager in Pakistan Utku Yazan by deputy rector Prof. Dr. Nesim Han.
Prof. Han said that the THY was presented with the award for its successful projects in fields of culture and education.
Umut Yazan, in his part, said that the THY was very happy to receive the award in Pakistan.
We dedicate this award to all of our Pakistani passengers, Yazan said.
THY is present in Pakistan for the past three decades. The airline company formerly received a "culture award" from the Pakistani Council of National Culture and Art. Pakistani newspaper, the Financial Daily, also presented the THY with the "best service" award in the past.
