Saudi finance to Palestinian women training lauded
Al-Khaleel, West Bank, July 07, SPA -- Khalid Al-Osaili, Head of
Al-Khaleel Municipality, today lauded the continuing support and
assistance provided for the Palestinian people through the Saudi
Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People, citing the
finance provided for the establishment of the Vocational and
Technological Training Center for Poor Women and the Handicapped in
Al-Khaleel Province.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he reviewed the different
aspects of the project, stone foundation of which was laid yesterday.
He extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for Saudi Arabia's
finance of the project which cost $1590000 carried out in
collaboration with the United Nations Programme for Human Settlements
in Palestine (the UN-Habitat).
Al-Osaili also thanked Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of
Interior and Supervisor of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the
Palestinian People to continue providing emergency assistance to the
needy Saudis.
