Ministry of Interior issues advisory on travel to Hong Kong

Riyadh, July 07, SPA -- The concerned authorities in Hong Kong have
noticed that some Saudi citizens who travel to Hong Kong or travel to
other countries through it, accompany materials and devices that are
prohibited to be carried aboard planes like electrical rods and
children pistols, said a statement released today by the Interior
Ministry.

The statement noted that the authorities at Hong Kong airport had
detected some Saudis coming from other countries on their way to
Saudi Arabia, and that they were apprehended, tried and forced to pay
fines.

The Interior Ministry drew the attention of the Saudis traveling
abroad to avoid purchases or carrying prohibited materials like
electrical rods and pistols and to follow the regulations of the
countries they travel to.
