PREMIER MEETS WEN JIABAO

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold met Wednesday with Wen Jiabao, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China during his stay in Beijing, China. This meeting is held after participation of Mongolia's Premier in the Boao Forum for Asia held in Hainan, China.
The Premier of Mongolia expressed his opinions on present situation and future of the Mongolia-China relations. S.Batbold requested the Chinese side to assist Mongolia in enriching the cooperation with economic content, transfer some border checkpoints to 24-hour regime, run the Russia-to-China gas pipeline through territory of Mongolia, found meat and dairy product processing factories and to establish campus of universities and institutes.
China's Premier expressed his willingness to help Mongolia intensify the bilateral economic ties, establish the biggest factories of processing meat and dairy products, and to cooperate in realizing largest projects. He appreciated the requests of the Mongolian Prime Minister.
The dignitaries agreed to bring the bilateral relations into a newer level, activate related organizations in implementing the above issues, develop mutually-beneficial collaboration and to widen cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
Present at the meeting were Ts.Sukhbaatar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to China; G.Batkhuu, Vice Speaker of Mongolia; D.Oyunkhorol, J.Enkhbayar MPs; S.Bayartsogt, the Minister of Finance; D.Zorigt, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy; T.Badamjunai, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; and A.Gansukh, the Vice Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development.
