DRAFT RESOLUTION SUBMITTED ON MONGOLIAN LIVESTOCK PROGRAM
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Parliamentarians submitted Wednesday a draft parliamentary resolution on approving the "Mongolian livestock" program to parliament Speaker D.Demberel.
The program is expected to bring a reform to the animal husbandry sector of Mongolia. Proper conditions will be created for providing the biggest factories with raw materials and people with healthy food. The program to be implemented with two stages between 2010 and 2021 will consume some MNT 900 billion. In a scope of this program, that is related directly with the document on state policy for herdsmen until 2026 and the National Development Strategy (NDS), a state unit will be set up with duties of regulating and controlling soums' veterinary hospitals and breeding service. According to the draft, necessary money for realizing the program will equal to at least three per cent of the state united budget.
The "Mongolian livestock" program reflects 17 goals and 84 activities in five priorities. It is planned to get financing from the state and local budgets, investments from citizens and enterprisers, non-refundable aid and soft-loans from domestic and international organizations.
The draft resolution was initiated by parliamentarians D.Baldan-Ochir, P.Altangerel, R.Amarjargal, D.Arvin, Kh.Badamsuren, Kh.Dadelkhan, B.Batbayar, N.Batbayar, G.Batkhuu, R.Rash, Ts.Sedvanchig and other MPs.
