RESULTS OF VISITS DISCUSSED
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Cabinet meeting held Wednesday discussed results of official visit of Speaker D.Demberel paid February 22-26, 2010 to the Republic of Korea. The cabinet ordered G.Zandanshatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to submit the results to the National Security Council (NSC).
The government also considered results of working and official visits of the Premier S.Batbold paid March 8-12, 2010 to the Republic of Austria and the Republic of Hungary, and ordered the Foreign Minister to submit the results to the National Security Council (NSC).
The cabinet discussed and backed in principle a draft law on ratifying a loan agreement between Mongolia and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) on implementing a project to construct auto road Unit-Moron and Unit-Tarialan. This draft law will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
An activity plan of realizing a national program on ensuring gender equality in 2010-2012 was approved. In frames of the program with basic five sections, 26 activities will be implemented.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar and the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Badamjunai were ordered to arrange sending relief foods to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). In accordance with a request N.Korea, 15 tons of mutton and 15 tons of goat meat will be sent to this country. For transportation expenses some MNT 80 million will be allotted from the government reserved fund.
