Ahmadinejad condoles with Chinese gov’t, quake-victim families

Tehran, April 15, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a message to his Chinese counterpart, Hu Jintao, expressed his condolences with him and the bereaved families.

A tragic earthquake hit a number of provinces in China leading to the death and injuries of a number of people.

President of People’s Republic of China

The tragic news of the earthquake in some parts of China that lead to the death and injury of a number of people has indeed saddened and depressed us.

While expressing my sympathy on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s government and nation, I pray to Almighty God to bless the departed souls and pray for the full recovery of all those who have been injured. May the Almighty give strength and patience to the bereaved families to bear this great loss.

I pray for the well-being and success of the Chinese government and nation.
