ITALIAN ARCHITECTURE TO COME TO ULAANBAATAR

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Italian architecture and design will be introduced in Ulaanbaatar city.
This action becomes more important in frames of the city administration's intention to cover by buldings 60 percent of the total territory of UB.
"It is planned to study Italian architecture, train Mongolian professionals in Italy and invite Italian architects to work here if an agreement is reached with authority of Milan city," G.Munkhbayar, Ulaanbaatar Mayor, said at his meeting with Mr Armando, Exectuve Director of the Italian-Mongolian Business Council.
Mr Munkhbayar said Ulaanbaatar wishes to boost a cooperation not only in economic sector but also in arts and cultural spheres, especially in theatrical relations.
Mr Armando said UB city is rapidly developing. "It is difficult to govern the city that is developing fast. I know this problem as a citizen of the country that has hundreds of years of history in urbanization," he added.
