STATE SECRETARY PAYS WORKING VISIT TO KUWAIT

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar paid a working visit April 10-12 to Kuwait at invitation of Halid
S.Al-Jaralla, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.
During the stay, Mr Tsogtbaatar met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. They shared views on the bilateral relations and cooperation and on international issues. The State Secretary granted an invitation letter to the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister to visit Mongolia. Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah thankfully received the invitation sent from the Foreign Minister of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar.
The State Secretary Tsogtbaatar and the Kuwaiti Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Halid S.Al-Jaralla signed a memorandum of understanding between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs on granting lands to each other for erecting diplomatic missions.
Mr Tsogtbaatar also met with Ahmad Rasheed Al-Harun, the Minister of Trade and Industry to exchange views with him on developing bilateral collaboration in trade, economics and investments. After receiving an invitation to visit Mongolia, Mr Ahmad Rasheed Al-Harun said he will make all efforts to widen the trade and business cooperation.
The same day, Mr Tsogtbaatar held other meetings--with Abdulwahab Al-Bader, a director-general of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), and Bader Al-Saed, an executive director of the Kuwait Investment Agency. Tsogtbaatar thanked these organizations for assistance and for granting soft loans to Mongolia, and underlined an important role of projects financed by the Kuwait's side on constructing auto roads.
The sides also talked about opportunity to cooperate in health, agriculture and mining sectors.
