Brazil’ Doimo company seeking new market in Iran

Tehran, April 14, IRNA – A Brazlian company is seeking a new market in Iran said the representative of the Doimo Brazil Company, Guilherme Taveira.

Talking to IRNA on the sideline of the Industrial Trade and Cooperation Seminar of Iran and Brazil in Tehran on Wednesday, Taveira described the seminar as positive.

He said the event was the best venue for Brazilian businessmen to become acquainted with the activities of other Iranian businessmen and companies.

Taveira said Doimo Brazil Co. is one of the leading manufacturers of furniture in his country, voicing his willingness to cooperate with Iranian companies in this respect.

The seminar opened in Tehran in the presence of Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian and his Brazilian counterpart Joao Jorge on Tuesday.

Several Iranian and Brazilian companies and investors conferred on various economic issues on the sidelines of the day-long event.

Jorge heading a 120-memebr delegation arrived in Tehran on Monday.

The two-day visit of the Brazilian trade minister is aimed at considering ways to develop ties between the two countries.

This is the biggest Brazilian delegation in the history of the two countries' relations to visit Tehran.

The visit of the Brazilian minister to Iran would pave the way for the upcoming first visit to Tehran of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in one month's time.
