AZERBAIJAN-CZECH BUSINESS FORUM HELD IN BAKU

Baku, 05 July, (AzerTAj)The first Azerbaijan-Czech business forum organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) was Friday held in Baku.

Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev spoke of his countries achievements gained in recent years. He said Azerbaijan was the world`s fastest growing country. According to him, reforms carried out in the country ensured economic stability, as well as increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The Minister stressed favorable investment environment was created in Azerbaijan.

H. Babayev underlined there was great potential to enhance Czech-Azerbaijan cooperation even more.

Attending the event Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg praised Azerbaijan`s dynamic economic development. According to him, reciprocal visits have significant role in expanding both countries` relations. He stressed the importance of the Forum in terms of establishing cooperation between Azerbaijani and Czech businessmen.
Director of AZPROMO Anar Guliyev spoke of prospects for Czech investment in Azerbaijan.

Following the event, bilateral meetings was held between Azerbaijani and Czech businessmen.
