Brazil minister stresses further trade ties with Iran

Tehran, April 14, IRNA – Brazil’s Minister of Development, Industry and Trade Miguel Joao Gorge Filho said Monday evening his country is keen on further cooperation with Iran, particularly in the private sectors.
Gorge Filho made the remarks in his first meeting with Iran's trade officials after his arrival in Tehran on Monday.
He said Tehran and Brasilia should promote economic relations in order to increase the level of trade exchange between the two nations.
He added his 100-member delegation to Iran is ready to get familiar with Iran’s potentials.
The Brazilian minister said Iran is the most major country in the region having great potentials for fostering ties with Brazil.
Brazil has opened the doors to Iranian businesspersons, he said, adding his country welcomes any project that help the two nations gain economic and industrial achievements.
This is the time for making the two countries of Iran and Brazil to come closer to each other and take giant steps towards implementation of big economic projects, Gorge Filho noted./end
