Senior diplomat calls for trilateral co-op with Poland

Tehran, April 14, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister in Europe Affairs said there is good capacity for trilateral cooperation between Iran, Poland and third parties in other parts of the world.

Ali Ahani made the above statement in a meeting with the Polish head of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aaren Darski, according to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on Tuesday.

Referring to the 500-year-old ties between Iran and Poland and the vast ground of cooperation in different fields, Ahani noted that the current mutual trade level and cooperation is inadequate. He underlined the necessity of joint efforts for using existing capacities.

He expressed hope that Darski and his accompanied delegation visit to Iran and their meetings with Iranian economic and trade officials would pave way to develop relations and increase cooperation between both sides companies.

He added that there is no limit to cooperation between Iranian and Polish companies.

Darski, for his part, presented a report on activities of Poland Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He said his visit to Iran aims to find new trade partners and increase economic and trade cooperation level between the two countries.

The Polish official also expounded on his country’s economic policies and developing plans which are being implemented in the country with the help of European Union./end
