Outgoing Ukrainian envoy bids farewell to fm

Tehran, April 14, IRNA – Outgoing Ukrainian Ambassador to Tehran Igor Glinev, at the end of his tenure, bid farewell to Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Tuesday.
In a meeting between the two, Mottaki underlined the necessity of expansion of ties with Ukraine, expressing hope that in the new era of Tehran-Kiev ties, interests of both nations could be provided, according to a report of the Foreign Ministry Media Department.
He added that Iran is ready to have all-out cooperation with Ukraine in the fields of bilateral and regional affairs.
The envoy, for his part, presented a report on current bilateral relations and called for further expansion of ties, especially in economic field and implementation of joint projects.
Referring to the presence of one thousand Ukrainian employees in Bushehr Power Plant, Glinev expressed pleasure that Ukrainian people are working for producing energy in Iran with other experts./end
