PREMIER MEETS DENMARK PREMIER



Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Attending the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2010 in China, the Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold has met with Lars Lakke Rasmussen, the Premier of the Kingdom of Denmark, and with Mohamed Karim Khalili, the Second Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The Mongolian Premier expressed his satisfaction with meeting with his counterpart from Denmark at the Conference, and emphasized a vital importance of high level forums in expanding Mongolia-Denmark commercial and economic relations. Batbold pointed out that Denmark supports the democratic reform in Mongolia and said he appreciated the Danida project that aims to form free press system, and a support from his country to the educational sphere of Mongolia. He said he is very confident that one of members of the EU Denmark will help Mongolia in introducing the European standards.
In turn, Mr Lakke underlined a successful development of the bilateral relations. He said he appreciates a development of direct cooperation between the two countries in business and economic sectors. He pointed out that Mongolia could consider Denmark as its “Third neighbor”, and that Denmark will render a comprehensive support in drilling the European standards.
After this meeting Mr Batbold held a meeting with Mr Mohamed Karim Khalili, the Second Vice President of Afghanistan. They shared opinions on developing the Mongolia-Afghanistan cooperation and on Boao Conference issues.
