Gulf investors to set up iron factory in Mukalla
SANA'A, July 05 (Saba)- Chairman of Hadramout commercial and industrial chamber Amr BaJarash said on Saturday that the Saudi,
Kuwaiti and Emirates investors to set up first iron factory in Mukalla, Hadramout governorate.
The cost of the project is $ 120 million, BaJarash told al-Aqtsadiah paper, the production capability of the factory will be 300,000 tons yearly.
He made it clear that the factory would start its production by next July of 2009. BaJarash said that the project would offer during its first phase 3,000 jobs.
