Majlis urges FM to lodge complaint with UN against US

Tehran, April 12, IRNA -- Members of Parliament on Sunday called on the Foreign Ministry to lodge a complaint with the United Nations against the US administration over war-mongering approach.

In a statement, 225 MPs condemned the war mongering literature of the US President Barack Obama posing nuclear threat to the international community whenever the so-called US interest is at risk.

The MPs said Washington has endangered the global peace and security, warning Obama against escalating tension in the sensitive Persian Gulf and Middle East region.

They added that by using the language of war and anti-human rights, the US president has humiliated all nations.

Praising the recent nuclear achievements gained by young Iranian scientists, the MPs said that by such victories the Iranian nuclear scientists proved that the enemies could not deprive the Iranian nation of its legitimate rights by issuing resolutions and imposing sanctions.

Such moves by the US and its allies, led by the illegitimate Zionist regime, cannot prevent technological and scientific development of the Iranian nation, they reiterated./end
