Speaker criticizes Obama's war mongering remarks
Tehran, April 11, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said here on Sunday that the new US nuclear policies are indicative of the country’s war-seeking approach.
Addressing the Majlis open session, he added that the recent remarks by President Barack Obama prove that Washington is following its past policies.
Larijani stressed that the Americans should know that such moves would have the least impact on the will of the Iranian nation.
Majlis believes that the US nuclear policies are war mongering and are in line with the incorrect attitude of Washington, he added.
He further praised the latest nuclear achievements of the Iranian scientists and Iran’s Nuclear Energy Organization.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities are based on a clear and transparent strategy, he said, adding that according to the guidelines of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, using weapons of mass destruction is religiously forbidden./end
