EC condemns US President's anti-Iran statement
Tehran, April 11, IRNA – Secretary of Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezaei said that the EC by, condemning (US President) Obama's anti-Iran statement, wants international circles to prosecute such stances.
Rezaei said on Iranian TV that in today's meeting of EC, members, by praising country’s progress in producing the third generation of centrifuges, asked all political officials to take a serious stance against warmongering statement of President Obama and the US Defense Secretary.
Of course, they claim that they are going to limit their own nuclear arsenal and not develop it, but they say that Iran and North Korea are exceptions in their nuclear reaction which is a kind of threat or a psychological war, Rezaei said.
He said EC, by condemning such stances and policies, wants international circles to prosecute such stances, because Iran is a member of NPT and in case of any threats, all other member countries should defend Iran./end
