AZERBAIJANI MINISTER OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEETS WB MEMBER
Baku, 05 July, (AzerTAj)Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev has met with Luke Barbony, head of the WB sector for poverty reduction and economic management.
Mr. Babayev underlined that Azerbaijan’s economy is rapidly developing, including
the oil and not-oil sectors. Preferential credits of the National Fund for
Entrepreneurship Support and Agroleasing Stock Company to the producers of the
agricultural goods play an important role in development of the non-oil sector.
Minister hailed the relations between the government of Azerbaijan and the World
Bank.
Mr. Barbony highly valued the country’s construction works. He underlined that the
WB prepares the Economic Memorandum to analyze the economic processes of Azerbaijan.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.
