STATE-OWNED ENTITIES TO BE PRIVATIZED
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The government on Wednesday approved a list of state-owned entities to be privatized in 2010. The Government tasked State Property Committee Chairman D.Sugar to organize a privatization project in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Moreover, the cabinet tasked Minister of Mineral resources and Energy D.Zorigt and State Property Committee Chairman D.Sugar to draw up a proposal on transferring shares to the government ownership from legal subjects possessing mineral deposit exploitation licenses and on trading some of the shares on domestic and foreign security markets.
State-owned entities to be privatized in 2010 are "Baganuur" Shareholding Company, 3rd Thermo power plant, Thermo power plant in Erdenet, Ulaanbaatar Electricity Distribution Network Company, Mongolian Stock Exchange, Erdene Zam Company, Mongolian Telecom Shareholding Company, Autoimpex Shareholding Company, Ulaanbaatar AZZA Company, Khutul Cement and Lime Company.
