WORKSHOP ON INT'L ACCREDITATION HELD

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A workshop "International Accreditation" started Tuesday under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences.
Main aim of the event is to achieve objectives in improving quality and competitive capacity of higher education in Mongolia. The seminar is being organized by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs of the USA, the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation and the Finance and Economy School in Ulaanbaatar.
The president of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) of the USA, Judith S.Eaton, and Executive Director of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs Mr Douglas G.Viehland were present at the event to talk about education accreditation in the USA, its principles, concepts, policy, standards and criteria.
Representatives of higher educational institutions from Germany, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan and Kirgizstan are taking part in this workshop.
