President to open biggest regional iron ore pellet manufacturing factory
Tehran, April 3, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad departed for Sirjan in the southern province of Kerman early on Saturday to open the largest iron ore pellet manufacturing factory in the Middle East region.
In his one-day trip to Kerman, President Ahmadinejad is accompanied by his senior Advisor Mojtaba Samareh-Hashemi and Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian.
Sirjan’s project of supplying iron ore pellet for steel mills is a giant step towards fulfilling developmental objectives in the country.
The iron ore pellet producing factory called “Gol Gohar” is located 60 kms from the city of Sirjan in the southern province of Kerman./end
