President's envoy calls for solution of Iranians' problems in UAE

Dubai, April 3, IRNA – Special envoy of President Ahmadinejad to the United Arab Emirates Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei said issues of mutual interest were discussed and solution of Iranians' problems was underlined in his meeting with UAE prime minister.

Speaking to IRNA in Dubai on Friday, Mashaei said during the past years, many Iranians have invested in the UAE, specially in Dubai, and they have been living here for years.

Mashaei added that Iranians have an important share in Dubai progress, so their rights in this concern should be supported.
Rahim Mashaei went on to say Iran-UAE relations are in a good level and have promoted in recent years.

Concerning UAE president visit to Iran which had been scheduled for next week, Mashaei said that in his meeting with UAE leaders, he had expressed President Ahmadinejad's desire for the visit.

President of the UAE Sheikh Kalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan was scheduled to pay an official visit to Iran next week, but due to death of his younger brother, the visit was postponed.

Mashaei arrived in Abu-Dhabi on Friday morning to submit President Ahmadinejad's message of condolence to the UAE leader.

During his one day visit, Mashaei conferred with Dubai ruler as well as UAE Minister of economic affairs.
