Iran Air to continue EU flights as scheduled: official
Berlin, Mar 31, IRNA -- Iran Air will continue its routine flight schedule to European Union countries as there are no real restrictions imposed on its flight operations, the head of Iran's national air carrier in Germany, Mohammad Reza Rajabi told IRNA on Tuesday.
The latest statement released by the European Commission did not level any specific restrictions or conditions on the number of flights, Rajabi said.
The Air Safety Committee put certain conditions in terms of which Iran Air aircraft will be allowed for its flight operations to Europe, he added.
Iran Air flights to Germany vary between eight and 10 flights a week depending on the time of the year, according to Rajabi.
The commission said it planned to visit Iran over the next months to review the oversight of Iranian civil aviation./end
