Mottaki condoles Russian counterpart on Moscow blasts

Tehran, March 30, IRNA – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Monday expressed his deep regret over the Monday bomb blasts in Moscow which killed and injured a group of innocent people.
In a message to his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, the Iranian minister extended his condolences to the Russian people, particularly relatives of the victims of the blasts.
Over 40 people were killed and 100 injured after two bomb blasts ripped through two packed metro stations in Moscow Monday. The explosions occurred within 40 minutes of each other in the morning rush hours.
Mottaki, in his message, expressed hope that terrorism would be uprooted through common efforts by all regional states.
