CONSORTIUM SET UP FOR REDUCING SMOKE IN UB

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ "Bolo construction", "M-Soild", "Peno hiits", "National Life Daatgal" and "MIBG" companies reported Thursday that they have co-established a consortium named "Smoke-free Ulaanbaatar".
Main aims of the consortium are to provide the city's people with high quality and reasonably priced apartments accorded with their income sizes, to reduce the current average price of apartments by 10-15 per cent, and to contribute to reducing smoke in the city.
A survey shows that over 60 per cent of 251.8 thousand families of the city are living in ger areas. The number of families living in such areas is increasing by ten thousand every year due to the migration from aimags, and approximately 17 thousand couples marry a year in Ulaanbaatar.
