US ARMY PACIFIC SPONSOR CADETS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) has sponsored this year's exchange of cadets, the second iteration of the Foreign Academy Exchange Program (FAEP) between the United States Military Academy at West Point and the National Defense University (NDU) of Mongolia. The news was reported Thursday by the U.S Embassy in Mongolia.
Mongolia's NDU hosted two cadets from the United States Military Academy at West Point March 14-20. While attending NDU, Cadets Rumeal Lewis and Nicholas Bayer participated in classes, observed a wreath-laying ceremony on the Sukhbaatar Square, and visited numerous cultural sites in and around Ulaanbaatar. Cadets Lewis and Bayer will have the opportunity to host Cadets T.Ganchuluun and B.Munkhbileg during Mongolia's reciprocal visit to the United States Military Academy April 18-27. Both Mongolian cadets will graduate from the Military Command Engineering Institute of the National Defense University this June. The Cadet Ganchuluun is majoring in Logistics, and Monkhbileg in Artillery.
