POLICE SEIZE WEAPONS IN ARHAB DISTRICT

SANA'A, March 23 (Saba)- Policemen at al-Jama'a checkpoint in Arhab
district of Sana'a have captured a shipment of weapons onboard a
car, almotamar.net has reported .

According to a security source, the driver of the car refused to
stop for routine checks and security forces captured the car in Bani
Atban district after chasing him for a while which caused the driver
of the to leave the car and escape.

The car was taken to Sana'a Security Department for legal measures,
the source added.

The seized weapons were referred to the Public Department for
Logistics and Supplies at the Interior Ministry, based on direction
of Interior Ministry.
