FINAL REPORT OF COMBATING MONEY LAUNDERING DISCUSSED

SANA'A, March 21 (Saba)-A committee of bettering systems of
combating money laundering and terror funding held a meeting on
Sunday over a final report on efforts exerted to these crimes.

Headed by Minister of Finance Noman al-Sohibi, the committee
discussed the report presented by the technical team, which was
formed by Finance Action Task Force (F.A.T.F).

Efforts of Yemen in combating money laundering and terror funding
and a request of Yemen to shaft from normal follow- up process to
modernization process were discussed.

The minister affirmed importance of improving the systems of
combating money laundering and terror funding in the country.
