SALEH REITERATES YEMEN'S FIRM SUPPORT FOR PALESTINIAN CAUSE

SANA'A, March 21 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh reiterated on
Sunday Yemen's firm supportive stance on the Palestinian cause.

During his meeting with the politburo member of the Popular Front
for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) Maher al-Taher, President
Saleh emphasized Yemen's support for the Palestinian people's right
to establish its independent state on its national soil with its
capital al-Quds.

Al-Taher has briefed the President on the last developments in the
Palestinian arena and the exerting efforts to realize the
Palestinian-Palestinian conciliation.

Moreover, the meeting touched on the developments in the Arab
situation on the light of the current arrangements for the Sert.
