AZERBAIJANI NATURAL GAS REACHES GEORGIA
Baku, 02 July, (AzerTAj)Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Mikhael Saakashvili of Georgia turned on a gas-stove in a local family’s apartment on Gaydar Abashidze st. in Batumi on Tuesday, symbolizing the arrival of Azerbaijani natural gas in Georgia.
The two leaders had a warm conversation with the Georgian family at a tea table.
They mentioned that the peoples of Azerbaijan and Georgia have had friendly and
good-neighborly relations since ancient times. The role of personal friendship
between the Presidents in further development of these relations was especially
emphasized during the conversation.
