Yemen, Oman discuss transport cooperation

SANA'A, March 17(Saba) - Minister of
Transport Khalid Ibrahim al-Wazeer met with Omani ambassador to Yemen Abdullah bin
Hamad al-Badi
here on Tuesday .
The two discussed cooperation relations between the two countries in the field of
transport and ways of enhancing them.
During the meeting , al-Wazeer handed the ambassador a letter to Minster of
Transport and communications in the Sultanate of Oman Khamis bin Mubarak bin Issa
al-Alawi concerning
cooperation between both countries in all areas through the Yemeni-Omani Committee
chaired by the Ministers of Transport in the two countries.
The letter also dealt with preparations for the tenth session of the committee and
a proposal for holding it in Sana'a next month.
Also, the meeting discussed joint projects being followed up by the committee as
well as activities of businessmen in Yemen and Oman.
