Saudi Shoura Council delegation meets with French officials
Paris, July 1, SPA -- A delegation of members of the Saudi rench
parliamentary friendship Committee, an affiliate of the Shoura
Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Dr. Abdulaziz bin
Ibrahim Al-Manie, met here today with the Minister of State at the
French Foreign Ministry for Foreign Affairs Rama Yad within the
framework of the official visit by the delegation to the French
Republic at the invitation of the French National Assembly.
During the meeting, the overall issues of common interest
between the two countries, especially parliamentary relations were
reviewed.
Later, the delegation held a meeting with Assistant
Director-General of the International Relations at the Department of
European and International Relations and Cooperation at the Ministry
of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mark Rowland.
During the meeting, they discussed topics of common concern,
particularly as regards cooperation in education and scientific
research as well as the academic conditions of students on
scholarships in France. --SPA
