OFFICIAL: YEMENI-MALAYSIAN FESTIVAL WILL ENHANCE TRADE EXCHANGING



SANA'A, March 15 (Saba) - The Chairman of General Investment Authority (GIA) Salah al-Attar said on Manday that the Yemeni-Malaysian festival would enhance the trade exchanging between the two countries.

This came in a press conference held here to introduce the Yemeni-Malaysian Festival for promotion of Yemeni and Malaysian products and services, which will be launched in Sana'a next Wednesday.

Al-Attar stressed the importance of creating a strong partnership between the private sector in Yemen and Malaysia and availing from the Malaysian experience in the trade and industrial areas.

He called upon Yemeni businessmen to take part in the festival events to contribute to strengthen the trade exchanging between the two countries so as to serve the common interests.

Moreover, al-Attar pointed out that, on the festival sideline, sessions would be held between businessmen from the two countries to discuss the possibility of establishing joint investment projects, in addition to briefing the Malaysian businessmen on the investment opportunities in Yemen, especially in the competitive sectors.

For his part, Chairman of Malawi Commercial and Industrial Chamber Ali al-Attas stressed the need to build a strong trade and economic relationship between the two countries and to create new united institutions between the two countries.

"Yemen has attractive and promising investment opportunities in the various areas, where the Malaysian businessmen can invest in", the Malaysian official said.
