Brunei will need Bangladeshi manpower: Hamid
DHAKA, Bangladesh, June 30 (BSS) - The outgoing High Commissioner of Brunei Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Hamid made a farewell call on Foreign Affairs Adviser Dr Iftekhar Ahmed
Chowdhury at Foreign Office here this morning.
The adviser thanked the High Commissioner for his
contribution to the development of Bangladesh- Brunei
relationship, which he termed as "strong and growing".
The High Commissioner said that that Brunei was planning to
build an industrial park for which workers would be needed.
He hoped that Bangladesh would be able to provide skilled,
semi-skilled and low- skilled workers for the construction
sector.
"Bangladesh will always be ready to assist brotherly Muslim
country in every way we can," the adviser told the High
Commissioner.
