Interior minister in Qatar for security talks

Tehran, March 8, IRNA – Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar arrived in Doha, Qatar, on Monday to hold bilateral security talks with Qatari officials.

Upon arrival, Mohammad-Najjar was welcomed by his Qatari counterpart at Doha airport.

Talking to reporters at the airport, Mohammad-Najjar said his current visit was aimed at inking an agreement on bilateral security cooperation.

He added that the agreement would include issues of combat against terrorism, organized crimes, narcotics and human trafficking as well as marine patrolling./end
