FM urges promotion of Iran-Brazil ties

Tehran, March 8, IRNA – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki urged the need for promotion of Iran-Brazil relations.
In a meeting on Monday with the visiting Brazilian Minister of Science and Technology Sergio Machado Rezende, Mottaki said that Tehran and Brasilia enjoy good ties which need to become further institutionalized.
Mottaki stressed that promotion of Iran and Brazil’s bilateral cooperation would benefit the two nations while it “is no harm to any third country.”
Meanwhile, Rezende told Mottaki that the two capitals enjoyed great potentials to boost bilateral cooperation in all fields.
He added that during his stay in Iran, he has closely become familiar with the country’s progress in various fields of technology and science.
