Yemen, Kingdom discuss cooperation in higher education

RIYADH, March 06 (Saba) -
Yemen and Saudi Arabia discussed here on Saturday relations of cooperation in the
field of
higher education and scientific research and means of boosting them.
In the meeting gathered Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Saleh
Ba-Sura and his Saudi counterpart Khalid al-Anqari ,the two ministers talked over
the
activation of cooperation protocols signed between a number of Yemeni and Saudi
universities in addition to the facilities offered by the Saudi universities to the
sons
of Yemeni community in the kingdom.
Ba-Sura and al-Anqari reviewed the progress in preparation for the cultural days of
Saudi universities in their Yemeni counterparts in the first semester of the
university
year 2010-2011.
The two sides also dealt with the services presented by the Yemeni public and
private universities to the sons of Yemenis residing in the kingdom as well as the
conditions
and regulations of distance education.
During the meeting, Ba-Sura expressed Yemen's thanks and appreciation for the
kingdom's support to the development process in Yemen and the facilities presented
to the sons
of the Yemeni community to join the higher education in the kingdom.
